Proximity to Bow Church line
I like the food arrangements.
It is very close to the underground stations. There were many halal restaurants close by. We came in much earlier than the check-in time; yet we were allowed to check in without extra charges. The WiFi facility was excellent!
We really liked the kitchen that was available for us to use 24/7 :) And the receptionist was really friendly
It's right next to Bow Church DLR station.
that the hotel have rooms that you can only reach by gonig out of the main part of the hotel.
I absolutely loved the kitchenette in the hotel. It was extremely convenient and saved me a lot of money. The staff was friendly and helpful and always available. The room was small but it was cleaned every day. The location of the hotel is its biggest asset. Located right next to the dlr, its two minutes walking distance from the nearest tube station, and bus stops; connecting it to every part of London in the most remarkable way. Banks, ATMs, pubs, and a 24hour store are all located around the hotel. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
Good use of the kitchen facilites/lounge. The well stocked kitchen and being allowed to help yourself to the supplied food was an excellent feature.
Price, vastly overpriced, but then the olympics were on at the time
The food on the table are all you can eat that feel like home!!! The Hote is convenient to go everywhere and neer to bow church station. Room service is very well who change the bed sheet, make the bed, clean the room every day, I think is pretty good!!! next time i will come back here too.
Clean and nice rooms, very helpfull staff.
used the room with shared bathroom. it was a very practical setup- the bathroom/toilet was maintained well and very clean. there was a shared kitchen and ironing board/iron a few metres from my room-this was really helpful. bow road station 2 mins away. bow church station next door-excellent access to transport. good sized co-op food/convenience shop and take away 1 min away.
noisy with window open (main road) but pretty quiet when closed.
the hotel was spotless fair play couldnt be happier
when booked hotel on Booked.net I was told it was very close to be o2 arena, but when arrived it was about 2 trains away which took about 30 min, so bit dissapointed, I wanted hotel in North Greenwich not Bow, as I was not aware of London and whether Bow was good or bad.
I stayed at the Citystay for two nights in November 2011, and overall had a good experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room nothing special but decent and the location was just perfect to get to Canary Wharf quickly without paying ridiculous prices. Of course, the rooms are basic but there is free wireless and despite being close to a busy street and a DLR station my room was pretty quiet.
Close to metro stations, confortable bed, clean room, very useful kitchen open from 6 am to 11 pm, so we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, very clean
Didnt have heater in bathroom, it was cold after shower.
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful!
Though there was a tube station within a five minute walk, the ride to the city center was quite long.
Again that very friendly receptionist at that weekend 6 th to 9 th of Jan . Room was ok and suitable - bed confortable - as well room service made a good job (new towls every day) . a good place to stay - if the demands to luxury are not too high - I ve been in it the fourth time !
As before - did not effect me that much - but other might point that as negative - that some furniture needs to be replaced - and a paint brush would help a bit to let the hotel to be well looked after . (Especially when at the upcomming Olympics London hosts the world
